What sparked your decision to start up your box and how did you get started?

I have always wanted to help others cook great Indian food from scratch so that they can experience great tasting homemade curries. From teaching people about spices and Indian food, I know that the flavours are loved but creating them at home can be a challenge.

Most recipes are overwhelming, complicated and take a long time to prepare. My Curry Club Discovery Box is aimed at people who love Indian food, and the products within it are about getting people into the kitchen to cook, so they are inspired, educated and entertained.

Spiced cooking inspiration.

Where did your box name come from?

I wanted to keep it simple, so people understood the concept.

Are you a creator or curator?

Both.

What was your most popular box?

The introductory box.

How many people are involved with producing your subscription box?

Two.

Which subscription boxes do you subscribe to?

Garlic Farm and Glossybox.

If you could put anything in your box, with money or scarcity no object, what would it be?

Me - so I could help more people cook great dishes from scratch!

What do you love about uOpen?

It takes away the difficulties of launching a box from scratch. The team were helpful when it came to planning and getting the box out there. I'm excited to see how it grows and think that uOpen will help us do this.
