This week we had the pleasure of speaking with Rosie, the founder of Rosie's Food Preservation Subscription Box. At the time of writing, the world is under lockdown with the COVID-19 pandemic. With social distancing and food shortages, preserving food through traditional techniques is a great way to keep the cupboards stocked with long-lasting food supplies. We are delighted that Rosie has taken the time to tell us more about it.

What sparked your decision to start up your box and how did you get started?
It is an idea I had had for a while and tried to start on my own. Once I found UOpen I decided to really tighten up the scheme to be a regular monthly item linked to our magazine Simply Preserved. Together it is a comprehensive serious knowledge base presented in a simple way to give positive results. These are important skills that need to be er . . . preserved.

Are you a creator or curator?

How many people are involved with producing your subscription box?
Just the two of us.
