How you can give a gift on uOpen…
We offer a number of quick and easy ways to gift one of our brilliant subscription or one-off boxes to someone special - just choose the one that works best for you when adding to your basket!
1. Voucher sent by email...
Use this option if you’d like your lucky recipient to receive a gift voucher by email, on a date of your choice, which they can redeem right here on uOpen for the brilliant box you’ve handpicked for them!
How do I send a voucher by email?
Simply choose the perfect box for your recipient from our huge selection of subscription boxes, and then choose ‘Buy as a gift’ when adding to your basket, where you’ll also be able to select a subscription duration and confirm your preferred gifting method - simply select ‘Voucher sent by email’.
You’ll be able to specify your recipient’s email address, a preferred e-delivery date and a custom gift message when you checkout.
How do they redeem their voucher?
Your lucky recipient will receive their gift voucher by email, on the date you choose. This email will include a unique claim code and a link to visit the uOpen website and redeem their voucher. They’ll be able to set up a uOpen account, provide their preferred delivery address and manage their ongoing subscription from here.
2. Voucher sent by post...
Use this option if you’d like your lucky recipient to receive a gift voucher by post, which they can redeem right here on uOpen for the brilliant box you’ve handpicked for them! Please note that there is an additional £2.49 postage charge with this option.
How do I send a voucher by post?
Simply choose the perfect box for your recipient from our huge selection of subscription boxes, and then choose ‘Buy as a gift’ when adding to your basket, where you’ll also be able to select a subscription duration and confirm your preferred gifting method - simply select ‘Voucher sent by post’. You can choose for the voucher to be posted to you directly or to the lucky recipient.
You’ll be able to specify your recipient’s postal address and a personalised message when you checkout. Please note, postal vouchers are sent within two working days of order by Royal Mail 1st Class. Unfortunately, we’re unable to guarantee a specific delivery date for vouchers sent by post.
How do they redeem their voucher?
Their gift voucher will include a unique claim code and a URL to visit the uOpen website and redeem. They’ll be able to set up a uOpen account, provide their preferred delivery address and manage their ongoing subscription from here.
3. Box posted directly to the recipient...
Use this option if you’d like your lucky recipient to receive their gift subscription box directly to their address, without the need to redeem a voucher on our website or create an account. Please note, that orders will be processed immediately, so please refer to the ‘Box Overview’ on your chosen box for estimated delivery dates.
How do I send directly to my recipient?
Simply choose the perfect box for your recipient from our huge selection of subscription boxes, and then choose ‘Buy as a gift’ when adding to your basket, where you’ll also be able to select a subscription duration and confirm your preferred gifting method - simply select ‘Box posted to recipient’. Alternatively, you can also choose for the box to be posted to you directly if you prefer.
When will they receive their box?
This will depend on the box that you’ve chosen as each and every merchant on uOpen has their own individual monthly despatch dates. Please refer to the ‘Box Overview’ on your chosen box for estimated delivery dates.
